I talked with my brother last night. He's about had it with the reliability of his current GM product and is looking to sell it and get something Japanese instead.

My brother is 6' 5". Which late-model Japanese cars would he fit in comfortably?

Picture is unrelated.

My dad is 6'2" and has no trouble in Subarus, Minis and Hondas.

Always the answer? That said I've had a 6'4" guy drive my '95 Miata and I'm 6'0" and can fit fine with the top up and a helmet on.

The smart fortwo? (half kidding)

It's a French built and German engineered city car powered with a Japanese heart.

Any of the midsize sedans are pretty roomy inside. Some of them are classified as full size by the EPA based on interior volume. Accord, Camry, etc.

One of my old bosses is 6'5" and drives a Hyundai Azera (although that's Korean) and before that had a Subaru Outback.

Other than "something Japanese with enough room for a 6'5" human," what type of vehicle does he want? Anything from a Mazda 6 to a Toyota Sequoia could meet that requirement.

He's not super picky, although he does want something with excellent fuel economy, and no older than a 2009. I don't really know what's out there; my purchases tend to be 10+ year old used cars so I don't know much about the 2-5 year old cars that my brother is interested in.
